Since I have never actually been to Hollywood Blvd and seen the walk of stars, I picked it as my first must see destination. Sam and others have warned me that it was underwhelming, so I went with low expectations and thus was not disappointed. Sam and I purchased an LA day-trip guidebook earlier in Santa Monica and planned a route past Hollywood Blvd and on up to Mulholland Drive which wound back down towards Malibu and Al's house.
Mulholland Drive was neat because we stopped at this little park were we hiked up and out to a great vista of the city and the Hollywood sign. There was also a group up there shooting a Verizon commercial, so maybe we are in the background. We ended the day back at Al' for nice dinner.
